Session Fees:

50 minute session for one individual – $150

80 minute session for one individual – $210

Intensives – Check back soon

Fees can be paid easily by adding a credit card to your account or choose to pay manually by debit, credit, cash or e-transfer.

Using Insurance Benefits

Extended Health Benefits – We can do direct billing through many insurance companies if you provide your details, consent and your insurance company accepts electronic submissions from practitioners. Some companies we commonly bill to include but may not be limited to:

-Other companies registered with Telus E-Claims

Funding Sources

We are registered with the following organizations or programs and can invoice them directly, on your behalf:

Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP)

For survivors of crime in BC, parents of child survivors and witnesses. Interim sessions are often allocated initially on applying, while applications are under review and additional sessions may be added once review is complete.

To start:

-Apply to the Crime Victims Assistance Program.

-Receive letter of approval for interim sessions.

-You will need to provide your claim number to your counsellor before starting sessions.

Autism Funding Unit (AFU)

Funds provided to individuals and families of children with an autism diagnosis in BC. Amount of funding is dependent upon age.

To start:

-After diagnosis, apply for funding.

-You will need to submit a Request to Pay form to the AFU with our information, which we will provide.

-Send us a screenshot of the allocation of funds from the My Family Services Portal or we will need to have received the letter from the AFU indicating funds are allocated for counselling with us before starting to work together.

Metis Counselling Connection (MCC)

Up to $2000 for each nation member to attend counselling.

To start:

-Complete the program application online.

-You will need to provide the letter from the MCC and your member number to your counsellor before starting counselling.

AgSafe

8 free counselling sessions provided to anyone in the agriculture industry or their immediately family members.

To start: You will need to complete an anonymous demographic form and consent form with your counsellor

Variety – The Children’s Charity of BC

Maximum of $2500 toward counselling for one year

To start:

-Confirm eligibility

-Complete grant application

-We can provide a quote for supporting documentation

-Wait for approval

-When the counsellor receives confirmation of funding and completes the agreement, start your sessions.

Island Kids Cancer Association – Touchstones Mental Health and Wellness Program

$2000 to support counselling for survivors, patients and and family members on Vancouver Island and the gulf islands.

To start:

-Connect with the Family Navigator

-Do a free consult with us

-Indicate the counsellor of choice to IKCA

-We will communicate with IKCA

-Start sessions

Self Design Learning Foundation

For students learning with Self Design, you may be able to request funds for support services with Outer Coast Therapy as we are a registered practitioner with them.

To start:

-Connect with your education team at Self Design to determine if this is an option for you.

-Do a free consult with us.

-Request services through the Self Design process.

-They will connect with us to confirm.

Other Online Schools

We have worked with other online schools and are open to entering into agreements with others upon request.

To start:

-Confirm the online school can designate funds to your family for counselling.

-Connect with us for a free consult.

-Request funds. We will communicate with the school to complete their process.

-Start services.
